SUPERMASSIVE HOLDINGS, INC. ("SUPERMASSIVE") respects the rights of artists, songwriters and every other creator. This page explains how to tell us that something on SUPERMASSIVEVERSE (supermassiveverse.com, the SMVERSE apps, SUPERMASSIVE RADIO and PULSE TV) infringes your copyright, and what happens next. We respond under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

1. Our designated agent

Send copyright notices to our agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (registration DMCA-1082035):

Copyright Agent
SUPERMASSIVE HOLDINGS, INC.
1 Independent Drive, Suite 2207
Jacksonville, FL 32202
Phone: (904) 323-3148
Email: copyright@supermassiveverse.com

Email is fastest. This address is for copyright notices only; anything else goes to Contact.

2. What a notice must include

For us to act, your notice needs all six of these (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of someone authorized to act for the copyright owner).
  2. The copyrighted work you say is infringed (for example the song title, the artist, and the release).
  3. The exact material on SUPERMASSIVEVERSE you want removed, with its link (for example supermassiveverse.com/listen/…).
  4. Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

When a complete notice arrives we take the material down or disable access quickly, and we tell the person who posted it.

3. Counter-notices

If your upload was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where SUPERMASSIVE may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We send the counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

4. Repeat infringers

We end the accounts of artists and users who repeatedly infringe, in appropriate circumstances. Artists can also take down their own songs at any time from their dashboard.

5. Please be accurate

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether something infringes your rights, talk to a lawyer first.

6. Other problems

For content that is harmful but not a copyright issue, use the report button on the song or Short, or see our Community rules and Child safety standards.
