FOR DISTRIBUTORS

Deliver to SMVERSE.

SMVERSE is a streaming and download service. This page is for the delivery team: how releases reach us, what we do with them, and how we report back. The artist terms are on the deal; how we prove what we say is on trust.

Delivery

StandardDDEX ERN NewReleaseMessage and PurgeReleaseMessage, versions 3.8.x and 4.1–4.3. We read both generations.
ChoreographyERN batch profile on cloud storage: P_<timestamp>/<ReleaseId>/<ReleaseId>.xml with a resources/ folder, and BatchComplete_<BatchId>.xml written last. Nothing in a batch is read until BatchComplete is there.
WhereAn S3-compatible bucket — a private folder in ours that we issue you keys for, or a bucket you host that we read from. SFTP on request.
AudioWAV or FLAC, 16- or 24-bit, 44.1 kHz or higher. We keep your file as the master and stream a 320 kbps encode.
ArtworkJPEG or PNG, square, 3000 × 3000 recommended (1400 minimum). Linked as the release’s FrontCoverImage.
IdentifiersISRC on every sound recording and an ICPN (UPC/EAN) on the release. We match updates and takedowns on these.
AdvisoryParentalWarningType is honoured: Explicit tracks carry the explicit mark on every surface.

What happens to a delivery

Release datesA deal StartDate in the future holds the release off the store until that day. Pre-release audio and artwork are stored at private addresses, never at a public one.
UpdatesAn UpdateMessage for an ISRC we already hold updates its metadata, and replaces the audio when a new file is delivered.
TakedownsA PurgeReleaseMessage, a deal with TakeDown, or deals that have all ended take the release off every surface in the next intake run (every 15 minutes). Audio is moved to a private location; nothing is deleted, so a later redelivery restores it.
AcknowledgementsOne ACK_<BatchDateTime>_<ReleaseId>_<BatchId>.xml per release in the batch’s acknowledgements/ folder: FileOK, or the reason it failed.
Test deliveriesUntil you are switched to live, everything you deliver is processed end to end and stays hidden, so both sides can check the result.

Sales reporting

FormatDDEX DSR flat file, Basic Audio Profile, Single Record Block variant (BasicAudioProfileSRB 1.4): HEAD, SY01.03 summaries, SR02.02 stream lines, SR01.02 download lines, SRFO.
WhenMonthly, by the 5th, for the month before. Delivered into your storage under dsr/.
StreamsCounted the way our public chart counts them: one play per listener per song per 30 minutes. Premium plays are royalty-bearing (SubscriptionModel); free plays are reported as FreeOfChargeModel.
MoneyPremium: 90% of net subscription revenue, split user-centric by what each subscriber played. Downloads: 90% of net. Reported in USD, by territory.

We are early. Songwriter and performance licensing (The MLC, the performing-rights organisations, SoundExchange for the station) is put in place before a live delivery is switched on.

Start

Email partnerships@supermassiveverse.com with your DDEX Party ID and which storage you prefer. We send keys and a test folder the same week; a test batch goes through end to end before anything is live.
